French 1920’s Art Deco Beaded Flapper Clutch with Belt Loop

This rare antique purse was handmade in France with gorgeous beadwork using glass beads. The lining is made of ivory silk satin with one pocket that has been torn by its original antique mirror, as shown in picture. This purse is 100 years old so there is discoloration with wear, including a couple of lipstick stains inside (left by a dancing flapper) and a stain from the brass hardware. The belt loop allows it to be worn on the hip or carried by hand. Wear this beautiful piece of history and you will feel directly out of The Great Gatsby! Measures 4.5” tall and 7.5” wide.
