French Antique Handmade Velvet Pouch (early 1900’s)

This antique velvet pouch screams French Victorian Couture! It was handmade with velvet, lace, & beads. The clasp is sturdy and themetal is heavy with beautiful detail work. The lining is satin and hand sewn in but very durable- perfect for sunglasses or eyeglasses! The sunnies shown are 5.5” wide and 2.5” high and fit perfectly. The pouch itself is 4” wide at base and 3” wide at clasp, with the clasp opening 2.5” wide. The pouch measures 7.5” tall. This pouch is over 100 years old so by no means in perfect condition. There is wear including color fading and pulled threads in lace- but it adds character and history. If you want to carry your eyeglasses in style- this piece is for you!
