aharonturner Hi I have been super interested in this dress. They didn’t have XL on Etsy or their website so I’m surprised to find it here!! Would you say the cotton is soft or is it that rough thin type of cotton? Also is it thick enough I could wear no bra? Are there pockets? Thanks!

pluto6991 It's a stiffer cotton, but it hasn't been washed yet so I imagine it would soften up. My other items from them have after washing. I would say you'd probably want a bra with this one. It's pretty light weight. Yes, there are pockets.

pluto6991 I just feel like the fit was off for my particular body type. It's all personal preference really. I have other French Meadows items and I love the rest. I just don't have this style of dress and I don't really like it on myself.

aharonturner @pluto6991 I just ordered my first items from them last night. I’m excited for it If I wore this one I would want it to be on my shoulders does it fit pretty good on the shoulders? Or does it fall more to the off shoulder? Sorry for all the questions I just want to make sure it will a good fit before I buy it from you :-)

aharonturner @pluto6991 I just measured my waist when I stand I am 42 in when I sit and bulge I’m 45 Do you think there is good stretch where I will still be comfortable wearing this even though these are my measurements?

pluto6991 It's definitely more off the shoulder for me, but I imagine that fit would totally depend on your own proportions. The waist should be totally fine. The elastic seems VERY stretchy and it fits a little big on me (waist is 39" ish).

aharonturner @pluto6991 I’m still interested. My order just came and I ordered a XXL skirt and it ended up being super huge on me like a whole fist worth of extra fabric not even counting it being stretched. I thought I would have been just my size but it’s ok means I’ve lost weight so it has me considering what size would be best for this dress XL or L I don’t want to order and it not fit since I need an outfit by the 9th. I have a large bust though so I’m thinking maybe a XL in this dress

aharonturner @pluto6991 I’m thinking maybe I should size down and go with Large since the XXL was extremely huge on my waist. The measurements was my size but the band was so stretchy it was huge. Maybe it will be the same with a dress
