I live across the mailbox panel, and it’s easy and saves me a day on shipping to get a hold of the postal employee rather than scheduling a package pick up request since they don’t get informed until the following morning. One day, I wait until late afternoon, nobody shows up. I decide to drop off the package. I arrive at the local post office, and something is unusual; there is no traffic around the parking lot then it dawns on me “today must be holiday”, and I quickly check my calendar and there it is! Luckily, package is not oversize and fits into the drop off window. Less than half an hour later after dropping off, I get a notification from Poshmark “thanks for shipping….”.
