These Frye Melissa boots get a stylish equestrian makeover with a strap wrapped around the ankle then buckled and knotted. Tumbled with stone for a perfectly broken-in look, this short boot boasts that perfectly cultivated, laid-back style. (Purchased from Allan’s Boots in Austin, TX and they use recycled boxes.) Condition: Like new used condition. I wore these boots once and realized they’re actually too small for me. I wore them with socks and then stored them inside the box, so they still have the new leather smell. They’re a distressed look, so the leather has some variation in color and texture. Close-up photos provided to show stone-tumbled, broken-in effect. There are some distressed marks on the front toes of the boots (this is intentional). You can also see that one of the backs of the shoes is more distressed than the other (the leather is a bit more frayed). One of the zippers is a bit tougher to zip than the other, but if this bothered you, could probably be fixed with some zipper wax. Size: 6.5 B. I think these run small and narrow. I typically wear a size 6.5 in all types of shoes, occasionally a size 7. Heel Style: Block Heel Height : Low (1 ¼” heel height) Shaft Height: 4 ¾” Color: Redwood (brown with red tones)
