melcurrio Hi Are these boots a Bordeaux brown ( red) brown? I wear both 7.5 and 8 in Frye boots It’s a tough call if these boots will fit me

cjdenver @melcurrio I would not describe these as reddish. They are a rich warm brown but not Bordeaux.

cjdenver @melcurrio As for size, not sure if there’s a measurement I could provide to assist? These are very comfortable and I often go up to a size 8 because in some cases that fits me better but not these. Please let me know how I can help. Thanks

melcurrio @cjdenver ok I think I understand so you usually wear a size 8? So do I (in most boots) But I do own a few Frye boots that are 7.5 Do these boots fit you ? If so- I was wondering if we could measure the length of our feet? to see if our foot size is similar?

cjdenver @melcurrio Yes, these boots fit me really well. My foot is 9.5” from big toe to back of heel. Width at widest portion across base of toes is 4.5”

cjdenver @melcurrio Added 2 photos to the post. The shaft is slightly higher in the front. The side zipper is 15” and runs from base to top. Hope this info helps. Let me know if there’s anything I can provide. Thanks

melcurrio @cjdenver ok great I drew around my foot on a piece of paper The length of my foot is 9.5 The width of my foot is 3.5 The width you measured was that the width of the boot?

cjdenver @melcurrio No the width came from stepping on a tape measure at the widest portion of my foot. I did it again and I forgot to subtract the 1” margin so it’s 3.5” not the 4.5” sorry about that. I hadn’t finished my coffee!

melcurrio @cjdenver Ok These boots are beautiful They seem like they would fit me but I have never bought a pair of second hand boots I was looking for a pair of brown ( with red in it)boots I have a brown leather jacket I am trying to match Some of the pictures in your listing seem like the color I was looking for But It is so hard to tell

I found out on line that Poshmark doesn’t do returns and that All purchases are final That’s a bummer I am actually waiting for my vintage jacket to arrive I bought it off Etsy It’s coming from GB The seller described it as Bordeaux But it looks like a warm brown to me I will send you a photo of his listing
