gwashin69 @bossnup718 Hi, Thanks for stopping by my store. These shorts are more "kaki" like in terms of the material and texture as opposed to a "relaxed" or softer feel. This material appears to be a little thinner and lighter than Dickies type kakis, for example. The inseam is approximately 15" and the Rise (distance from the bottom of crotch to the waistline) is also 15". Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Take care. GDUB
