apeterswallace Hello! I think these are the same pants as I have in a different colorway, but the ones I have do in fact have functional pockets. Can you tell me which pockets you're referring to when you write that the pockets are non-functional? Thank you!

lilac_sweetpea @apeterswallace Hi, thanks for stopping by my closet! Both the front and back pockets are non-functional. However, I believe the front pockets can be made functional but the thread would need to be un-stitched since it’s sewn shut. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions!

apeterswallace @lilac_sweetpea Thank you so much for this kind reply! Ah - I see: it sounds like the pockets were just sewn shut by the manufacturer as they often are on new garments. Is this the case for the back pockets, too: i.e. are they sewn shut but have flaps that would turn them into real pockets if they were opened up? Could you also let me know whether these pants have even been dried in a dryer and if you think they could be shipped in time to arrive in Chicago (60647) by May 30?

lilac_sweetpea @apeterswallace The back pockets are definitely just for design so there is no available flap for it to become an actual pocket. Yes, the pants have been dried in the dryer. I can’t guarantee that they’ll arrive by that date, but I will have them shipped out by tomorrow the latest and hopefully it’ll get to you in time!
