At Gypsy Girl Soap, I create each bar of soap using the traditional cold process method, blending natural oils and butters with lye to initiate saponification—a natural chemical reaction that transforms these ingredients into pure, gentle soap. This process gives me complete control over every ingredient, ensuring my soaps and other handcrafted products remain free from unnecessary additives and harsh chemicals. I use pure essential oils, which not only provide natural aromatherapeutic benefits but also nourish the skin and hair. Essential oils offer properties that can soothe irritation, balance skin, and promote healthier hair—benefits that synthetic fragrance oils simply can’t match. Many sellers using melt-and-pour soap or mass-produced formulations rely on synthetic fragrance oils, which often contain phthalates and other chemicals that can irritate the skin and trigger allergies. By using essential oils in my products, I ensure a natural, skin-friendly experience that promotes overall well-being.
