Size Medium ( please refer to measurements given below to assure fit) Beautiful vintage Gil Aimbez hand crochet sweater Tassel Tie Closure Dropped Shoulder with ruffle accent, neckline, cuffs, and bottom edge have the ruffle accent. Gathered Puff Sleeve 52% Cotton, 28% Acrylic, 12% Nylon, 8% Wool Hand Wash, Dry Flat Excellent Vintage Condition, No visible stains, from non smoking environment Approx Flat Lay Measurements: Length: from natural shoulder to bottom edge = 21” Sleeve measured from shoulder to bottom of cuff = 25” Sleeve inseam = 18” Chest area width = about 18” Collar, which can be worn up or laid down is about 2 to 2.5” Gil Aimbez (b. 1940) studied art and fashion in Los Angeles before heading to New York. There he worked for Anne Klein and other firms as a pattern maker and design assistant. In 1973 Aimbez became the sportswear designer at Genre, a company owned by Peter Clements. Other labels were added; Bon Menage in 1977 and Snafu in 1978. In recent years Aimbez has run his own fashion consultancy firm, and has worked with the Thai government to help improve the marketing of Thai fabrics and fashions.
