GINA BENOTTI size S black/white 3/4-sleeve embroidered knit dress

THIS PRETTY BLACK AND WHITE 3/4-SLEEVE EMBROIDERED KNIT DRESS BY GINA BENOTTI, SIZE S, is gently pre-owned, in near-perfect condition, free of defects or damage, with no signs of wear. It has an embroidered zigzag pattern in white against a background of thin horizontal black and white striped. A distinctive feature that isn't apparent in the pictures is the shimmer and shine of metallicized yarn in the fabric. The fabric is 98% polyacryl and 2% "metallisiertes Garn", German for metallicized yarn. I had to look up polyacryl. It's a synthetic fiber noted for its wool-like feel and warmth. It's durable, light-resistant, and mixes well with wool. The care label (picture #11) says "auf links waschen," German for wash on the left. That seems to mean see the symbol on the left, which indicates machine wash up to 30 degrees (C.). Other symbols mean no bleach, no tumble dry, and low iron. (Reshape and dry flat is usual for knit garments, but the label doesn't specify a drying method.) The stated size is S, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 16", stretches to about 18"; waist 14.5", stretches to about 16.5"; hips 17", stretches to about 19"; hemline 20"; shoulder 14.25", stretches to about 16"; sleeve 17"; length (in back, neckline to hem) 34.25". If you like the dress but not the price, don’t despair, I’m willing to negotiate. Make me an offer.
