GLAMOROUS 1940s' TEAL FABRIC FEDORA WITH MATCHING FABRIC FLOWERS & BROWN VEIL

This is a truly elegant fedora from the 1940's. The hat consists of a short, round crown and a double medium brim made of a stiff material and covered in a beautiful teal colored fabric. The edge of the brims are decorated with same fabric "flowers" creating an amazing look. The crown is surrounded by a chocolate brown narrow band ending in a small bow at the back. To finish the look there is a tan veil, which adds allure to this unique look.There is an elastic band attached to keep the hat in place. The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war and on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The label was created by a group of well-known designers who wanted to remain anonymous and wanted to support the New York Creation label and keep it competitive with French styles of the era.
