GLASBAKE Vintage Clear Glass Mustard/Jelly/What-Not Jar with Aluminum & Wood Lid
Pre-Owned - Very Good Vintage Condition
The red wooden knob top and aluminum lid are not pristine. The glass jar top has a small aberration (but smooth) on the side, and along the top there is a small spot that seems to be chippy (but smooth).
A Very Unique Piece!
Glasbake kitchenware was first introduced in 1917 by the McKee Glass Company (based in Jeannette Pennsylvania). The kitchenware was designed to rival the popular Pyrex ovenware product line that had been created by Corning Glass Works during the time period. Glasbake production ended in 1983.
