For those who didn't know, I was not on vacation. I was moving; I always hoped it would be for a house, even small, to help more street cats. And unfortunately my dream hasn't come true yet. I wanted to introduce Grisou in that video. But seeing him like this made me so sad I couldn't. I just moved; have to unpack, to clean and I took him in. Maybe my family is right; maybe what I do is just a rain drop in an ocean. I just couldn't leave him in the street. From what I know, he's a street cat who was picked by the Cat network, put for adoption and ended up back in the street. My family went back to Europe. I have no energy. I'm low, sad, overwhelmed, don't really want to posh, wondering if what I do is really useful. 6113unit what's this. stop it! you know what you do is important! plus it makes you happy! Another note, have you ever thought of becoming an animal sitter. When I had my cat, I paid a girl$30 a day to go visit my cat and feed him and do litter change. You do a couple a day, and you can make some cash. Your vet work is beneficial. or become a dog walker?

nwto @6113unit This is what I do. But I charge way less. Maybe because as some people tell me I do things with my heart. And in America, it's about business, not about heart. That's why I needed extra revenue. I was feeding more and more cats and didn't make enough to buy the food. I would like to stop because it makes me so sad to see them struggling in the streets. That's why I was hoping to get a house and turn it into a sanctuary for cats or other animals. I'm stuck. I have to keep on going.

Trust, this isn't easy when your heart is in it, my heart has been invested for years yet at times I break, but I'm a fighter. It's not in my DNA to lay down and die, though many have tried. I believe people with a seeious love for animals are doing God's work on Earth. You see a need, you help and that is love. Every tear is counted.😘❤️🥰

yourmakeupfairy @artnfireparis My parents have taken in many kitties over the years. Unfortunately, the one tossed out the window on a highway, Joey, almost hit my parents tire, just passed. He lived 12 very good years with lots of love. I believe you're a wonderful person. ❤️

nwto @yourmakeupfairy i was scared to tell mine how many I have. I know most people think I'm crazy. It went better than I thought. I left them my bedroom and they slept with Violette, Pollux and Fidgi. They said Pollux was singing at night. I don't think he does sing, more of a talk. Anyway, I'm grateful they finally understand why I'm helping those cats.

claudiafeltus @6113unit @artnfireparis This is true! I pay the cat lady to sit over 30$ for me when we go away and can’t take her. Of course she’s a brat for the sitter as she has a leash to go outside. Last year with Covid,there were not a lot of sitters in my area . They didn’t hire.Hhearing the news it does look like people want to start vacation and weekends away. So, there will likely be an increase need. We had a pet sitter come in and take care of out Bunny many years ago and payed well back then.

nwto @claudiafeltus I know. Most other dog walkers that I know charge more than me. Each time I try to raise my prices some of my clients say they gonna find someone else, like some kids who want to get pocket money or people who need a side job. Believe it or not. I worked for a guy who owned a restaurant (and probably other businesses). I was walking his dog 3 times a day for 20 dollars. Of course he said the dog didn't like to walk that much. With me she did and it was hard not to do more than 30

nwto minutes. He never tipped me. I had a girlfriend who walked dogs in the same area. She said she never wanted to work for him. All I got was clothes from her. I know I'm getting old but dressing like my grandma is not gonna help me find a husband lol The most generous clients were never the richer. Probably my fault too. I'm not a great business person. I preferred when I was a foster. I didn't earn nothing but at least and hopefully I helped perfect dogs and cats to get a 2nd chance and home.

nwto @yesveruca I do love him. But Idk if he knows it. I have to separate him from my other cats as he's FIV +. Some say it can be caught easily. Some others say no. Plus I have to work, clean, care for my others and I'm out for 2 hours every night to feed my street ones. When I was a kid, all I wanted was my parents. They had to work and they worked a lot. I hope he's happy and feels loved. I really try my best to make them happy and feel loved but as I have so many it's not easy. It's like a family

nwto @yesveruca Thank you for your encouragement. I'm a worrier and over thinker. This morning he was looking out by the window. I'm sure he misses Bootsie and Grumpy. I will take them too as soon as I can. I have to organize a nice space for the 3 of them. I have lots of ideas for that. I started the coconut oil treatment on his rashes. I used to hear that cats are cold and independent. Mine are total opposite. They want my attention all the time.

nwto @patrend54 it's so hard. I hadn't seen my family in a while. I hope things wouldn't go well and it did. They helped me so much. Now I'm all alone. My parents are not getting younger and the choice to stay here is much much harder. If I could take all my cats (indoor and outdoor) back with me, I think I'd leave. nwto @bloodykisses3 he's doing better in overall. His hair grew back on his thighs. I took pictures and I have to post them. Yet he's not fully as I'd like him to be. I ordered Revolution on a canadian website and I got screwed. They sent me a product named Strobghold plus. It hasn`t helped with fleas or earmites. nwto @krisswenson my love for them is not enough to save them. That's my problem. I wish I could do more. I often get angry at me for that. Also do i give each of them enough love whether my indoor or outdoor ? Maybe some people are right. It's better to have one only and spoil them than many as I have. nwto @styleaddict9116 Sorry that I haven't been sharing you. I had to move again. The strays I took in are all fine to me as i work really hard to make them all happy. Yet the ones still outside are not. I've lost a few cats. Some have disappeared and I'm trying to figure what happened. Some have been killed. How about you and your cats? As to the return, be careful and if it happens, persist in getting paid. Since the site has been sold, it seems different.

styleaddict9116 @nwto Sorry to hear about some of the strays. Recently I started feeding 4 stray cats on my street. I already have 4 indoor cats so I really didn't want to adopt any more. They started staying underneath the house which protects them from dogs. They were all afraid to come near me at first but now two of them let me pet them. Two weeks ago I saw 3 cute gray kittens coming out from under the house! So now I need to get kittens adopted soon!

Yesterday 2 people insulted me for feeding a group of really skinny cats and said the same old refrain i hear all the time: why don't you take them home? Honestly there are days i really wish i had the space, the money and the energy to have more to avoid those assholes. nwto they had been catching 30 cats to send them in shelters. I was furious. I wonder if that cat i'm looking for was part of the trip. All i know is that the cat she was always hanging with is alone and lonely. I found a kitten a year ago in my colony, took him home and kept him as i don't trust nobody anymore. He escaped 4 times and last time i found him dead in that building i was living in. Maybe i shall have looked for adopters. I'm just so tired of all this. I have to stop.
