Nike‘s Earth-conscious Air Force 1 Crater has appeared in a lively “Light Lemon Twist” colorway. Where many past iterations of the sustainable Air Force 1 Low model presented simple, undyed color schemes, “Light Lemon Twist” is undeniably vivid, boasting a bold, eye-catching tone and plenty of special details to boot. Apart from their yellow shade, uppers offer an interesting synthetic construction with a gridded pattern. The forefoot and midfoot are both yellow, while the collars and heels provide contrast with icy blue and faint black shades alike. Swooshes are white and tuck themselves under the translucent heel tab as they ascend towards the rear. This heel is stamped with a navy Nike logo, and further branding is provided by a familiar Nike Sportswear sunburst hit on the lateral side. White mesh tongues are encased in a semi-translucent TPE material, covered by white laces and a navy-branded badge. Another sunburst graphic is present on the insoles, and down below bright yellow Crater Foam midsoles — made of recycled Nike Grind foam — are flecked with touches of blue and red to round off the look and and ensure the “Light Lemon Twist” is at least 20 percent recycled content by weight.
