GUCCI GG Plus Monogram Flat Vertical Tote Dark Brown

Authentic Vintage "Gucci Plus" tote bag in Beige GG Plus coated canvas. This bag is part of the short-lived separate label "GUCCI PLUS" bags made by Guccio Gucci's grandson Aldo-Paolo Gucci in the 1980s after he was fired from the company by his family. He won the court case to use "GUCCI" in his products. Gucci does not officially recognize these bags under the "GUCCI" label but they are a great piece of fashion history! The front crest and GG logo canvas have the words "PLUS" in them. The inside is lined with brown canvas. It can be carried on the shoulder with the signature red and green striped web straps. The coated canvas makes it very sturdy and water resistant.
