GUCCI Vintage Joy Embossed GG Leather Tote Tan

Good pre-loved vintage condition- mainly because of the color fade. Gucci Joy shoulder tote in embossed GG leather with signature horse-bit pattern lining and silver Gucci hardware. Color is tan/camel. Leather color is significantly faded, as if sun bleached, despite several attempts to revive it with leather conditioner. Leather is very relaxed and not rigid. No holes at corners, but they do show scuffing/wear. Noticeable stains on front and back (enlarged in photos). Both handles have been repaired due to kinks caused by breakage of the inner plastic core and twisting of the handles (please see photos). Mostly only noticeable if you’re looking for it. Interior is very clean. There is some fraying of fabric along bottom of inner pocket trim. Despite flaws, bag is still very functional and has lots of life left! I was going to dye or paint it (thought it would look great in dark blue or green), but didn’t want to risk ruining it. Could be a great project for a crafter or artist to create something unique!
