GUINEVERE / Anthropologie Modern Tapestry Design Sweater Square Neck & Crochet Fringe Trim Alpaca, Wool & Acrylic Blend Size Small This is a beautiful short sleeved sweater blouse with intricate tapestry style weaving. It's very warm and cozy due to the blend of yarns in wool, alpaca and acrylic. The folksy design is reminiscent of Peruvian alpaca blankets and ponchos, but the color palette is totally modern with a subdued gold metallic thread woven into the black and white. The sleeves are wide and have a lovely crochet trim, while the square neckline and crochet hem finished with knotted fringes add drama. It's a no fuss topper to a long skirt/leggings, blazer and boots and is perfect for the holidays! If you are in the colder weather, this is great to wear under a heavy coat to parties where the fire is blazing. You can still be warm, but not overheat in a long sweater you can't take off. I hate that. This is a Small, but has stretch and can easily accommodate a Medium. It is not exactly a tunic length, but it's longer than a t-shirt and hits me at the hip bone. Condition is excellent preowned, no issues that I see. I bought this directly from Anthropologie in the 2000s and it was worn maybe twice. I don't think they carry Guinevere anymore as Nidhi Yasha has launched her own label: Feminine silhouettes that are imbued with rich cultural meaning, from the incorporation of eccentric prints and folkloric motifs, to the use of traditional Indian crafting techniques.
