GYPSY Customized Vintage Fur Felt Hat

This was a vintage Dynafelt hat that has been upcycled into a rare piece of wearable art. The sweatband is adjustable, so it fits 56cm and smaller. Size 7 is also about 22”. The felt has been dyed a rich tonal blend of plum, berry, and persimmon. It’s been strategically burned, then embellished with a band of silk sari ribbons and tea stained bandanna, overlaid with deerskin laces and twine. The ring neck pheasant feather is attached to a dyed seagull feather and attached with a waxed string loop, and can be easily removed and replaced as desired. A nickel fleur de lis is attached at the back, a distinctive touch for my customized fur felt hats. This is a beautiful hat meant for someone who doesn’t mind standing out in a crowd.
