Back when Galliano was working for Dior I had the pleasure to work backstage during fashion week in NYC. I was able to snag these amazing boots. I don't know if these boots were ever mass-produced. This is the only pair I've ever seen. When I look at them I see Haute Couture... big skirts, intricate folds, wild makeup, long legs, and....THESE SHOES! With 5" heels, you better know how to strut. Unfortunately, I don't. They have never been worn since the model took them down the runway. Your turn!

styledbykblake @vivacouture I just had to share. Many phrases are coming to mind none of which I can say. I would wear them on a plane, in a train, and if it rained id risk some type of illness by hiding them and my bag under my clothes!!

onceuponathyme @styledbykblake @vivacouture I have to be alert to the delivery man, so my husband doesn't pick up my packages.... oh, my! :-) But if I wore a 34 or 35 shoe I wouldn't be able to stand up! As for who is going to place it in a glass case - I've already had my turn at that. ;-) I wish I could wear it, but I've never been able to walk more than the three feet between the chair and the couch.... I quit doing heels and find it very difficult to go back! They are glorious, though ... whether you're wearing them, admiring them under glass, or passing them around to the general awe of the assembled company. :-)

michelleannette @onceuponathyme Ok these are my size, and I can wear high heels, but I am afraid. Once I start buying your shoes, I will never stop. Loooove these. Talk about a statement. I had about 300 pairs of shoes before my husband said enough. I gave away Pedro Garcia, Pradda, you name it. This was before Posh. I figure if you or Kristen want to buy or I could send them and you could just use them for a shoot. Of course with the racks and racks of clothes you have, you probably don't have space to store them. Kristen's talking trades for blood and organs, haha, no need to get so extreme. onceuponathyme @michelleannette .... I get you, babe! I have gigantic ballet dancer calves - when they started making boots big enough for "regular people" to tuck their jeans into them I went CRAZY. In two years I bought over 200 pairs of boots. Then I found Uggs. Those boots have never been worn - but I kept buying them! And I LOVE to look at them, and pet them. hahahahaha .... in true DRAGON style. It's pathetic. and wonderful. @susanleeyogi has it right - she has a post... "Yes, I have a shoe addiction. onceuponathyme hahahaha... as you see from my closet, I have a soft spot for Jonny, too. :-) These were actually a pull from a runway show that I got to keep. I've never worn them, because I CAN'T walk in them! @styledbykblake Kristen shares our passion, and has talked about putting these under glass, since she can't fit in them. But you DO have to wear them at least once! They've never been even for a stroll - aside from down the runway one fine day several years ago. :-)

Well, it's not exactly walking. More like strutting...? :-) They have finally - for the first time - been taken out for a (very short) drive around the yard, and you'll be seeing photos of that live and in color very soon! onceuponathyme @lululady Indeed, Taylor, it was me... We got photos of it at the shoot yesterday, although it was too short for our gorgeous 6' tall model. :-) It's the most divine piece I own ... rich dark green silk velvet skirt with a bustle and green lace over a body suit - so it looks nude, but isn't - for the bodice. It's the most sexy demure dress . . . the bodice has a high neck and long sleeves, but the one time I wore it - to the opening Opera season - it just stopped the show. People who worked with me every day didn't recognize me. It has a built in body suit that pulls the bodice tight - in such a way that seems impossible. And frankly, before you fasten the crotch piece it looks terrible . . . the - four hooks later - BRILLIANT. It's a size 4-6. How I wish I could still wear it!

My ex fiancé donated my storage units to Salvation Army about 9 years ago! It was a dark day! I am still rebuilding and once some things are gone, all you can do is wait for genius (lightning) to strike again! I am not above donations ladies!
