Have info on this handbag. This is a Kelly-style (named for the late Grace Kelly) handbag pocketbook. By the by, the Kelly era ran from 1954 thru the end of 1979. Garay branded bags, as did most brands during the late '50s until the end of the '70s used mostly vinyl and patent vinyl as it cost less to make bags from. This made purses more affordable and more were sold.
This pocketbook is patent vinyl. I can tell by using close-up viewing of the photos.
