Gardner Martin SNARK PUZZLE BOOK 1st Edit & Print Tenniel Holiday Jabberwocky

This vintage hardcover book by Martin Gardner is titled THE SNARK PUZZLE BOOK and according to the bookcover, is based on Lewis Carol's nonsense poems THE HUNTING OF THE SNARK and JABBERWOCKY. The first edition, first print book was published in 1973 by Simon and Schuster. The book features "Jabberwocky" illustrations by John Tenniel & original "The Hunting of the Snark" illustrations by Henry Holiday. The dust jacket of the book has some wear as shown in the photos. There is also a name and abbreviation stamp inside. Also - some marking on the outside of the pages as shown in photos. All other pages are without flaws such as writing, creasing, etc.
