Assuming it’s out of warranty, did you look at all into paying to have it fixed? I’m interested and willing to wait for it to be repaired if that’s the barrier for you, but trying to figure out if it’s a total lost cause or just an expensive/time consuming repair. Thanks!

@marthaconnolly I can email Garmin and ask on cost for repair, I’ll follow up here with their response

@marthaconnolly looks like there are DIY solutions that Garmin recommends, which would be free, but they’re not guaranteed.
They will not fix it themselves so it would have to be fixed by you/a local watchmaker if you wanted to go that route.

@lilyh13 thank you so much for looking into it, would you say this is something that you could get around using the touch screen, or are there features you’re unable to access due to the broken button?

@marthaconnolly it’s not a touchscreen, it’s navigated only through the side buttons.
Can get around all functionality fine with just the “down” button, just means the menus may take longer to select the item you want if you “miss” your choice and have to scroll around again.
