Gate Keeper 1940’s Vintage Day Dress by Patty Petite Size Small/Medium

The fantastic pattern on this vintage Patty Petite dress reminds me of a garden gate or trellis somehow. The fitted bodice flares to a full flirty pleated skirt and closes in the back with a discreet zipper and frog closure. The bust is 34in., the waist is 27.5in., the hips are 34in. It is 40in. Long from the shoulders and hits just below the knee. The material is unknown but has a shiny raw-silk quality to it. Time has faded some areas of the brown & green fabric but has almost created a discreet ombré effect which does not detract from the beauty.
