As the Soixante Neuf site says, "this is a great layering necklace", delicate yet strong. Alternating gemstone flowers and hexagons are double-sided gems (smoky quartz is my guess). The type of metal is not marked. However, a version of this necklace is still available new for about $300, so it must be a precious metal of some sort, perhaps sterling silver, but not marked as such.
