Hi Deb, got home so late last night I didn't do anything but go to bed. The bags are AWESOME! I was glad I put in my remarks when I did. But, oh, boy, they are GREAT! Thank you for the great deal, as always, and the wonderful newbies to my collection. I LOVE them! No wonder Dennis said he couldn't be mad when the bags were so wonderful....he has already staked out the one he wants to use for some of his card-making stuff. HUGE HUG, Cheryl
cheryl1da
OH NO! just saw ANOTHER cool bag! You are too "cruel" for words! Cheryl

@cheryl1da Haaaaaa! So sorry, but you seriously donโt have to buy them all! I told you they were worth the wait! So glad that you LOVE โค๏ธ them!
cheryl1da
Now you sound like Dennis! LOL.....but I LOVE this one! And I use these to truck stuff between home and hospital AND I use them to help sort my card-making stuff. I NEED them...LOTS of them! LOL Glad you liked your Love Note...didn't even need to see the bags to know how wonderful they ARE! Have a great day. I get PART of one off. Big thing given how swamped we are and we aren't even close to capacity! God Bless, Angel, Cheryl

@cheryl1da Are you really serious??? What will you do with all of them? What will Dennis say?
cheryl1da
With some hours off I could actually SHARE some. I am SO behind on shares. Cheryl PS- Didn't share the two I saw that I really like! LOL
cheryl1da
I am a fanatical organizer who uses pretty things to put sorted items in. People love to see my rooms with the way I organize stuff without things looking sterile. Dennis is also creative so he is used to my "method."๐ C
cheryl1da
Besides, these fold flat when not in use, which is NEVER! LOL Send me a special deal on the ones I marked, please? I have to work on my hunee. Cheryl
artwearables
@cheryl1da Are there 3 of them?
cheryl1da
I found two I think...one had a sun/moon motif with cats and others have butterflies.. C
artwearables
@cheryl1da you had 3 โLikesโ I just want to make sure I donโt mess it up.
cheryl1da
I put a "I want this one" in the comment area of the two I want, okay? Annnd Dennis says, "Go for them if you want." I like husbands like that! LOL He never says "no"....he knows I buy what I want. But I do respect his opinions. Cheryl PS- One is large with sun & moon w/cats...the other is covered with butterflies, is a bit smaller, looks more like a handbag. Let me know what great deal you can make me. Thank you! Oh, yes, and Dennis is also anxious for learning converting drafts. He helps me.

artwearables
@cheryl1daThank you so much Cheryl for the pin and card! Did you make the pin too?
cheryl1da
Oh, yeah, right...LOL...like you make the bags! LOL No, I saw it and thought immediately of you and how I thought you would want to see customers as they leave your place (wherever you sell your stuff). I was going to keep it because Dennis says it also looks like ME with the bags! But he also agreed you deserved something "suitable.." We just make the cards. You should be getting another from the last shipment of two bags also. Big Hug, so glad you like it! Cheryl (and Dennis) PS- I had my

first "case" recently. I only joined Poshmark at the end of April, made over 200 purchases with no problems and then a seller sent me two vintage items identified as in "excellent condition." They were anything but and I have bought a ton of vintage jewelry. I TRIED speaking with the seller and they told me to file a case. I took photos, also referred Poshmark to the seller's photos. Just
cheryl1da
stated the facts and showed the photos. The seller was screaming that I am NOT a lady who can ever be satisfied. LOL In 24 hours I got my refund, with Poshmark paying for the return of the items (I mean they were broken!). I WAS nervous....I don't expect perfection from anything, especially vintage stuff. I was kindof surprised they ruled in my favor. But one of the actual defects showed in THEIR photos! We didn't realize it until the item arrived. I have a lot to learn about this place.

@cheryl1da Yuck, let me know what happens. One bad apple...I had one opened AGAINST me right around the time I met you. You actually gave me hope of goodness out there. I had sold a piece of clothing that apparently the buyer didnโt want she actually ALTERED it, ripped it apart, sewed it back together and claimed it came that way! Really? Iโm a clothing/textile major from OSU, I know clothing! Would you believe they ruled in her favor?
cheryl1da
Ever going to show me how to make DRAFTS? Remember? I think it would be super helpful. I know you are busy. As a doc I don't have much free time either, but it would be so helpful. Think you can eek out some time? Let me know. Thanks, again, for all the great bags. They are ALL just super! Cheryl

@cheryl1da I havenโt forgotten really, just traveling now, will be back again in 10 days. I need my computer in front of me since the process is different than on my phone, sorry. I really wish we werenโt leaving but had made a commitment.
cheryl1da
Well, we HAVE worked with multimedia items so I guess if we ad really wanted to. I can't believe the gall of some people, filing a false case. FOR WHAT? We have belonged to eBay for 20 years. In all that time we only had one buyer who let us know something had broken in shipping. At that time we were new and Dennis said it absolutely could have been his packing. The buyer wasn't hostile, just heartbroken. We sent her repayment immediately...she was shocked that we didn't ask for photos or
cheryl1da
anything. Turned out she was a CEO and BOY did we gain customers FAST! We mainly bought stuff, but did do a ton of selling in 2012 and made a bundle. We sold around the world...tons of dolls...LARGE porcelain dolls (like 24-32") and not one broke! LOL BOY were we lucky! We stopped when my hospital duties changed because of a department promotion. I don't see how you do well on Poshmark. Like I said I'm new, but it seems you have to do so much just to get a sale! Are you on eBay, too? C
artwearables
@cheryl1da I did get my money and altered item back after pushing but Iโm used to working with retail buyers being an ACTUAL wholesaler, not the public that often can be dishonest, I forgot....Itโs been years since I have worked retail.
artwearables
@cheryl1da No, will explore others once our markets are done. Now, you sound like when we were distributors. I used to sell hundreds of gloves a day in Colorado lol, I had shipments twice a week on handbags too. Different times.
cheryl1da
Still hope the pin "suits you." LOL Then WHY do YOU Poshmark? It just seems so time consuming. Since the shut down I joined to buy things for my Mom, which you can tell if you read some of my listings. Not many stores are open here and those that are don't allow many people in. I sell the stuff she doesn't like on Poshmark and buy her things she does. Proceeds go to COVID-19 patients and families. But I have little time to actually do it. Dennis helps. He handles all shipping. Cheryl

I DID sell to Southwest and Northwest stores when I designed "Madame X." We drew a lot of sales from the Texas Fashion Week for that line because I used natural fibers and aimed at boutiques. Nordstrom' s has its flag store here so I sold a ton to them...great place! The cards came about when I bought a pair of sewing shears in a fabric store and wondered why I had to go next door o buy a gift card. In all I created 144 card designs. One clerk fainted when a customer bought 156 cards at once!
artwearables
@cheryl1da So awesome, love it those were the days!
cheryl1da
"We Say Sew" cards ended up in over 500 fabric stores. My practice just got too busy to keep it up. Same with "Madame X." I got a standing ovation following my final show. Like you said, it was an earlier time. The buyers were NICE.. They didn't cancel orders at the last minute or claim the quality was "not as expected." Another good thing was I didn't owe a dime when I was through with med school! LOL Cheryl

@cheryl1da What years?
cheryl1da
I was super lucky. One of my best friends was a partner. She let me handle the parts I liked- the designing and talking with buyers. She did just about everything else. We are still best friends. She is not a doc but ended up as an exec in a local hospital. We are like sisters. You almost NEVER hear of people staying friends when a business closes. We made that decision together on both lines. Cheryl
cheryl1da
From 1992-2000, both lines done together in separate industries. C

@cheryl1da I was a buyer in NYC then.
cheryl1da
Were you a nice one or a b.tch?
artwearables
@cheryl1da Well let me put it this way....when I went to the wholesale side, they all wanted to hire me!
cheryl1da
See, we handled EVERYTHING, including delivery! An order was placed and we made sure manufacturing and distribution was ALL done through us. Problem? The buyer only had one number to call. We both LOVED those parts! I wasn't an Ivanka, who knows nothing about anything except getting dressed. LOL We treated EVERYONE like GOLD. We only had to change manufacturers ONCE. But Jan, my partner, made sure everyone had what was needed WHEN it was needed. We worked our butts off. But it helped having
cheryl1da
a real partner. AND we bought AMERICAN. I don't think we could have been able to do these businesses if we had needed to use imported anything! C
cheryl1da
We also looked for as many women owned or run places as possible. We were told women couldn't be counted on. B.S. The lousy manufacturer was run by a man. And we had contracts for everything! C
cheryl1da
Did you like the wholesale aspect? C
cheryl1da
We went to NYC for "stuff" on a regular schedule. So much there! C
