Here is a genuine 1950’s vintage brown Mouton sheared lamb fur jacket. It's from my collection. This one is too small 4 me now!! So my loss is your gain! It is a size: Small (Please check the measurements) It's real sheared lamb pelt with tan taffeta lining with floral design. This 1 has a rounded collar. The color is a deep reddish brown. There R lighter reddish spots N the coat, but due 2 it’s age, this is 2 B expected (look closely at the pics). Otherwise it is N excellent condition 6 it’s age. It has been stored. Mouton fur (North America) or beaver lamb (UK) is sheepskin which has been processed to resemble beaver or seal fur (mouton is French for "sheep"). Mouton is considered to be a “politically” correct fur because it is lambskin whose hair has been straightened, chemically treated, and thermally set to produce a moisture-repellent finish that looks like beaver fur.
