Carte de Visite, abbreviated C.D.V. photographs were introduced in 1854 by a French photographer named Andre Disderi. Disderi introduced a method of producing glass plate images and mounted these images on cardstock. We have One photograph from the 1860 era showing Lincoln and his family. Considering it's age, it is in excellent pristine condition. This is a RARE Vintage Piece of American History that is Highly Collectible.
