Genuine Egyptian Scarabs for Jewelry-Making
These scarabs are from my unused overstock supply from my jewelry-making days.
I got these in Egypt, but I never got around to using them.
Each hand-carved piece is unique, and no two are identical. They vary slightly, and the largest is approximately 1" long. These DO NOT HAVE A HOLE so instead they can be used as a pocket amulet, cabochon or a trinket to hold close for protection. Due to the hand-made nature of each, there may be some slight imperfections, lending uniqueness, authenticity, the signature of an ancient relic, and a rustic look.
This sale is for a lot of 3 charcoal gray scarab cabochons. These are carved out of soapstone or steatite, a soft stone that becomes hard when fired (forming enstatite). They are also all glazed.

In Ancient Egypt, Scarabs were a symbol of life and death, renewal, the sun re-emerging each day, protection, good luck, and a means of warding off evil.
