Beautiful Leather WWII Bomber Jacket from the Discovery Channel Store - purchased in 2000 for photoshoots and not worn more than an hour. Discovery channel has recaptured history in the form of "Jacket Art" and is a reproduction of the G-1 bomber jacket, originating in the 1920s is still part of the regulation naval uniform. It is decorated with actual patches worn by U.S. Military fighter pilots. Comes with the original info packet on the patches on the jacket and care instructions. Full zippered front, 2 outer pockets with buttons. One inner pocket. Has removable neck collar. Wrist sleeves are elastic to ensure total warmth throughout the jacket. Approximate Measurements . Chest ( Pit To Pit ) - 27" . Length ( Bottom of Collar Seam to Bottom ) - 24" . Sleeve Length From Shoulder Seem - 25.5" Has typical leather imperfections - which aren't considered 'imperfections" but individual characteristics. These include variations in the surface, graining texture, tanning luster, wrinkles, range marks, and color which create a natural beauty that synthetic materials cannot duplicate.
