Is this official vermeil (2.5 microns) or just gold plated sterling?

@spunkybling Hi. Great question! I just did a little research since this is from the UK where standards are a little different. While this is gold over Sterling Silver rather than base metal, and could be accurately called "silver gilt", I think we have to assume it's not a thick enough gold layer to be Vermeil. My source does sell some items as Vermeil and referred to this as Silver Plated. Have a great week! :)I

@spunkybling hi. So sorry I didn’t answer sooner. It’s gem show time in Tucson so it’s crazy. I’m pretty sure it has a 925 stamp. I’ll try to check before I leave for the shows tomorrow, but if I don’t have time, I promise to do it tomorrow night.
