Genuine Woodcroftery Wood Bowl, 1940s Vintage Artisan Made In USA

No splits or chips, in good overall condition, normal wear for the age. Hand painted fruit has some wear, see photos for details. A delightful shabby chic or farmhouse kitchen decor. Woodcroftery started business in 1935 until the mid 1970s. They made household products from log two finished product. I am not sure what type of wood this is, but cherry was their wood choice. Later products had a seal with their name on the bottom, but the earlier products had their name branded into the wood. They were the largest manufacturer of wooden bowls in the United States. Each bowl was made by a talented artisan who was paid by the peace. They took great pride in their workmanship, which is evidenced bowls of this age standing the test of time. They operated from Wayland New York.
