Sterling silver handle stainless blade cake knife in the Acorn pattern by Georg Jensen.
The Acorn pattern was introduced in 1915 as a collaboration between Georg Jensen and designer Johan Ronde. The Acorn pattern, which combines Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, has become a timeless classic. The hallmark on this piece was used exclusively on silver sold in the Georg Jensen & Wendel store in Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1945-51. This knife features a large notched stainless blade.
Measures approx 10 1/2" long, 1 5/16" wide across the widest point of the blade.

Marked GEORG JENSEN & WENDEL A/S on one side of the handle, STERLING DENMARK on the other side of the handle, FRANK COBB SHeFFIELD ENGLAND on one side of the blade. STAINLESS STEEL on the other side of the blade.
Very nice condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratching.
