Vintage George DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 100% silk scarf Theme: wine, French culture Soft, satiny, draping non-sheer fabric Size: Approximately 53 inch x 10 inch Condition: believe new and never worn; perfect condition as found in what is probably it’s original packaging. Packaging has creases from storage. Colors & design: vibrant yellow background with a darker tone of yellow design of rooster feathers, motifs of a toasting rooster, flying stork transporting a “baby wine”, moon, bird on a branch, bunch of purple grapes, chateau building. Colors include shades of yellow, brown, red, purple, “George DuBoeuf” on black text box. I try to show colors as close as possible to the actual colors (keep in mind monitors differ.) Interesting factoid: Beaujolais Nouveau is a red vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks, made from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais region of France. I'm thinning out my scarf collection, trying to keep only those which I wear regularly (bandana size) - hard to let these go, but trying to be practical :-).
