George H Cowan, Vintage Meat Carving Set

Made in Sheffield England, 3 pc set.; knife has stainless blade…still very very sharp, sharpening steel, and meat fork. Bakelite handles. Knife measures 14-1/4” overall, with 9” blade. Fork measures approx 10-3/4”. Well loved condition, look carefully at photos. Very rare collectors item. George Cowan lived 1854-1922 and was the son of James Cowan (1831-1899), a Sheffield cutler who worked at Joseph Rodgers for more than 20 years. George’s cutlery pcs were made from roughly 1890’s thru teens.
