Georgian antique dangle drop earrings.
Fabulous antique pair of dangle-drops earrings, created in England during the Georgian period, circa 1800. These diamonds earrings was carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 15 karats topped with silver for the settings of the diamonds. They are embellished with an exceptional selection of one-hundred-thirty Dutch rose-cuts diamonds and the settings are finished with the millegrain technique.
They are fitted with movable hook wires for pierced ears and a hinged security snap slash. It should be noted that the diamonds used in this piece are of exceptional quality considering the period. Seeing a piece from this period with this quality is very rare and extremely difficult. Usually these pieces with that kind of precious stones were disassembled during the later Victorian period to create new ones. These are an amazing pair of great rarity, with excellent craftsmanship and surely a collector's item.
