Gerardo Lopez Taxco 980 Silver Matching Necklace and Earrings | Demi Parure

Dating to the 1950s/1960s or so, here's a 980 Silver (hallmarked) demi parure of Eagle 25 jewelry by Gerardo Lopez, Taxco Mexico. Composed of a necklace and a pair of screwback earrings, the design is a stylized curlicue - a feather or leaf design. Tongue-in catch that works as it should. Length of the necklace is 15-1/2"; width of the panels is 5/8". Weight is 48 grams. The earrings measure 1-1/16" high x 3/4"; combined weight of the pair is 8.2 grams. Terrific condition to the set with a wonderfully warm patina to the silver. Screwbacks work as they should - no stripped screws. An absolutely wonderful set of Mexican silver!
