Gerda Lynggaard 4.5 in. Monies Long Organic Flat Disc Amber Dangle Clip Earrings

Unusual Gerda Lynggaard organic 'MONIE's earrings. The amber discs have the appearance of powdered pressed amber resin, (just a guess) having twisted cotton threads holding each disc to the other. The discs are fragile in that where the holes were drilled there are chips in the discs. See marked up photos. There were a few small chips on the rims which I was able to file and smooth over so they're not noticeable. The chips shown in photos are on the back side of the earrings Please be mindful if you drop these, they may chip. 4 1/2" long. Top disc is 1 1/2" wide. Lightweight and easy to wear. All 80's/90's earrings are from my personal collection. Truly one of a kind. I wore elaborate dangle earrings while I worked in the garment district from 1981 up til 1990. Purchased from various downtown Manhattan jewelry boutiques/sample sales and juried craft shows on the east coast. All my items for sale come from a non smoking home.
