German Milk Jug - Persian Ware Valencia Pattern

Milk Jug made in Germany - Persian Ware Valencia design. Vintage jug has some stains on the inside but pristine on the outside. Lid just rests on top - does not attach or fit into a ridge. At one time, milk jugs would have kept the days milk (or buttermilk) cool, maybe stored in a cool shelf. There were no plastic jugs - the lid would have kept unwanted dirt and creatures out. 7in tall, quite substantial and would hold about 5-6 cups.
