Art nouveau pair of cufflinks made in Germany.
An outstanding pair of antique cufflinks made in Germany during the Art Nouveau period, back in the 1900. These cufflinks have been crafted with free shapes in solid yellow gold of 18 karats. The design depicts the standing figures of two women embracing a heavenly mantle with diamonds. The surface is embellished with applications of opalescence glass enamel. The cufflinks are fitted at the reverse with fixed bars and hinged movable backs for comfort.
Diamonds: Mounted in flush settings, with 14 European rose cut diamonds, 0.28 carats, G/H color, SI clarity.
Weight: 13.45 Grams, (8.65 Dwt).
Measurements: 21 mm by 13 mm by 22 mm (0.83 x 0.52 x 0.87 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with German marks; the maker's mark inside a squared cartouche and the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold, "18".
