Girls vintage red and white skirt 1930s 40s star and anchor nautical print

Amazing vintage girls cotton skirt in a red and white nautical print of intermixed stars and anchors circa early 1940s or late 1930s. Crisp cotton fabric. Waistband with two side buttons (one appears to have been replaced at some point- see photo) and a full skirt. A few marks on the fabric that I didn’t attempt to remove- see pics. No tags- guessing approximately a size 6, but use provided measurements for sizing. Quarter shown for scale.Perfect for the little sailor girl.
