Girls winter black dress, size 10

This cozy, comfy black dress is made of slightly stretch polyester and rayon--washable and wrinkle-free. It's elegant and sophisticated--with a grown-up minimalist look--but has a full, swishy skirt. There are thread loops to hold a skinny belt, but it looks fine without one (and you can always cut the loops off). Size 10, it measures 14 inches armpit to armpit and 31 inches shoulder to hem. Full disclosure: I bought this for my daughter to wear to a funeral, and I cut off some decorative flowers that were on the left side of the bodice. I worked very carefully--but ended up making a nick in the fabric on my very last snip. The last picture shows the tiny hole I left. (It wasn't at all noticeable when my daughter wore it, and the fabric didn't fray at all after washing and hanging dry.) Your girl could wear a black camisole or slip, which would make the dress warmer, too.
