kellen_clark @motospice I grew up in a small town in the South without technology. The internet did not exist and there were no cell phones. I was forced to use my own creativity to entertain myself, which meant going outdoors and meeting people & making friends. I also learned to love nature, which brought me closer to God. And I had to communicate with my parents to learn things, which brought me closer to my elders. I had so many wonderful life experiences because I LIVED.

motospice @kellen_clark Hi Kellen! I can relate to your upbringing. I too came from a small town, only 9 kids in my class. We were poor but didn't know it as we knew nothing else so we learned to find joy in the simplest things. One of my best memories was one May Day, after school, setting on the porch of our rundown home was 3 May Day baskets filled with beautiful things for me and my two siblings.. no card, so I never knew who they came from. That precious memory taught me to always be grateful!
