Givenchy rare 1980s crystal cabochon long robe chain gold plated vintage

Presented is a spectacular vintage (circa approx. 1980's) Givenchy gold tone glass cabochon necklace. This necklace features a thick weaved rope chain and highly faceted clear and emerald green glass cabochons. It is marked Givenchy Paris New York on the back of the center element. The "Paris New York" part of the signature is only visible under magnification. It also has the Givenchy logo clasp. It measures 36" long from end to end (including clasp). The center element measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/8" wide. This is a heavier necklace weighing almost 5 ounces (about 141 grams). This necklace is in excellent condition. The metalwork is in great shape, the glass cabochons are intact and bright. A super chic high end designer necklace!
