Glentex vintage butterfly silk blend scarf in rare novelty pattern

This is a super vintage silk blend scarf and made in Japan. About 15 by 44 inches rectangle vibrant butterfly scarf and very retro! This is from GlenTex which is a very old 1930s through 1970s company that made women's scarves and collars. See below for history of this company. This scarf is an excellent preowned condition and amazing for its age. This scarf is approximately late 1950s to early 1960s. Colors are orange blue purple and brown. This comes from a smoke free home and will be mailed same business Day Glentex: When the brand first stepped onto the scene in 1939, it emerged under the umbrella of the Glendser Textile Co. that received its first registered trademark for lady’s scarves and handkerchiefs. In the following decades up into the 1970s, Glentex became increasingly popular and was widely known for their beaded collars and vibrant patterns. Many pieces were made in Japan out of a wide variety of fabrics, including silk and rayon. At the height of their popularity, they even partnered with our beloved Schiaparelli and Gloria Vanderbilt to create high fashion pieces!
