This is a thin, velveteen painted cocktail jacket (or blouse). It is unlined, lightweight. The paint is raised and has an odd feel. It does make this jacket look embroidered. The buttons are embellished gold and silver tone. I don't quite know what to make of this piece. It sure is interesting. Vintage and pre-owned pieces may not reflect the current sizes.
