I just started at Poshmark, but I'm not new to buying, researching, selling, and collecting glass! I'm very particular about shipping. If it's glass, it is bubbled, tightly wrapped, and padded before putting it in the shipping box. The pictures above are all pieces that I have owned, or have in my collection. I love vintage & antique glass! I credit Vintage Glass Identification on FB for many, many of my glass ID's. Some of the most knowledgeable experts are active members! Enjoy! 🥂

The last two photos are examples of how seriously I take my research. My green rose bowl is compared to a signed larger vase that was posted on a reputable site. I haven't gotten verbal confirmation that my piece is by the same maker, or even if the glass I compared it to, is authentic, so I would not list it with a "Moser" attribution. There's a lot that goes into identifying glass! 🥂

The last photo shows a beautiful cordial that I spent at least two years researching (in my earlier collecting days 😊) I have a soft spot for single stemware. I had to know what it was, so I kept at it. I finally found it in a book on elegant depression era glass.

The first photo was from an estate sale. I bought every piece shown, along with about 200 other pieces. The previous owner was obviously a collector, and had taken excellent care of her glass. Wear on the base of an item such as a vase, or piece of crystal stemware is most often a good indication that it has seen some shelf life. She had beautiful table runners as well, and some of her true antique items barely have a scratch because of how she displayed it over many years.

Two of my favorite pieces of glass, along with other meaningful pieces such as the ceramic puff box, the vintage Japanese silk screen, the chippy antique porcelain spittoone, a photo of my aunt singing with her Sweet Adelienes, and a stack of vintage books on antiques, make up this grouping. The Fenton vase came from the few things left of my aunt's estate after she went into elder care. The piece that started my collection came from her years before.❤ Value? Priceless.❤

And to finish up on photo number five...the beautiful cased Fenton dish I drop my loose jewelry into, came from a sale of a dear friend who was tasked with selling his wife's glass when she went into memory care for Alzheimer's. It was produced in this color for just one year in the early 40's. He and I collaborated on selling her collection. He had the glass...I did the research. I gained a life long friend in the process. ❤

Oops! My "priceless" treasures are in photo six. By the way, I have reason to believe the vase belonged to my grandmother, whom I never met. It dates to 1909 (give or take a year...I forget.) It was one of the few things my aunt had left, along with some old pictures, and my grandma's cookbooks & recipe box. ❤

You are incredible. The time and effort you put into your closet. Thank you for such beautiful eye candy. It takes me back to Moms house that was loaded with vintage. Well. It was in style back in the 1950 s era. And I developed a love for it without even realizing it. Love love love your closet. A pleasure to share it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello, will you be listing the 5 orange top candle holders or lamps with crystal dangles? Thanks, Cindy
applepies92
@plandrum1 The lamps, yes, but I'm trying to figure out the packing details. They will probably need to be in separate bundles because I double box glass, and the crystals & shades will need to fit with each item. The ones in front match another set I have listed elsewhere, so those will stay together. The one in the back on the far left will go here. I can focus on getting those 3 listed this weekend. I have several of the ruby vases to list here too. ☺ Thanks for visiting!!

@plandrum1 The glass in the other photos is from my personal collection, fyi. Those items are not for sale. ;-) 💗

@applepies92 let me know when you get them listed, I'm interested in them and the milk glasse ones, let me know what I can bundle and we can work out a deal on all them if your willing, thanks, Cindy
plandrum1
@applepies92 I'm definitely interested in the 2 that match at least and the milk glass ones. Thanks. Cindy
