Gnome Tomte Wood Sheepskin Wool Figurine Mythical Nordic Folklore

This Tomte is named Lorcan, which means “wild one”. He was born on August 3, 2023 in a small house on the Providence River. Tomtes (or Gnomes) are a traditional character for Nordic countries. Naturally very mischievous, the tradition is to leave treats out for them to prevent little Tomtes from getting into trouble. These Tomtes are hand crafted with mostly natural materials. Wood body, face and nose with hand painted eyes with a mischievous twinkle. Sheepskin body, rabbit fur feet and stocking hat pompom. Hats are various material, marble base with felt pad to protect surfaces. Created in a smoke free workshop and home. This is not a toy.
