From Goebel Hummel Expressions of Youth collection, Hummel number 89/II "Little Cellist." The Expressions of Youth collection features a very small number of Hummels, I believe less than 10, that were produced unpainted with a glossy white finish. This Hummel model #89 was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1938. It was restyled in the 1960s, and there have been several size variations since that time. This model number 89/II is the large size and measures approx. 7.5 inches. The Expressions of Youth model was made in 1991, the artist initials are dated '92 on the bottom.
