Gold Dipped Gem Necklace

This gem necklace has a long chain that is 16 inches long. It also has an additional 2 inches of chain for clasping the necklace. The gem itself is 2 inches long and about 0.8 inches wide. The top of the purple gem is dipped in a gold color, which takes up about 0.5 inches of the length of the gem. The gem does have some perforations, including a lengthwise dip that is 1 inch long, with 0.4 of those inches being covered in gold (pictured). These are part of the gem and are not due to damage.
